It is fortified with our exclusive Alpha Performance Booster, designed to reduce friction, wear, noise and operating temperatures. The Alpha Performance Booster is a synthetic lubricity additive that greatly improves lubricity and reduces wear rates by as much as 30% to 50% (proven through used oil analysis).
Alpha Megamoly Premium 15W40 uses only synthetic calcium sulfonate detergents, the only type of detergent that prevents deposits from forming on the crown land and the top of pistons. The use of synthetic calcium sulfonate is one of several reasons users experience very long drain intervals when using this product.
Alpha Megamoly Premium 15W40 is an excellent choice for all operating conditions ranging from general duty to severe operating conditions. It is formulated with the additive Moly, a proven friction modifier, which provides an excellent lubricant film that further prevents metal-to-metal contact and frictional wear.
